ABOUT THE FOUNDER: PAUL MASKELL

From humble beginnings atop juice-can stilts Founder Paul Maskell spent his early childhood obsessed with juggling and balloon-twisting. A former member of the Canadian National Swim Team and paramedic, Paul turned his sites to a career as a professional variety entertainer 20 years ago and hasn’t looked back since.

Paul’s unique blend of skills, combined with his endless curiosity and unbounded energy ensure that he is a hit with children and adults alike. Whether performing at a street festival or on stage, Paul’s personal brand of fun and laughter, combined with a few ounces of dare-devil and danger, have earned him repeat praise on the North American festival and event circuit.

The father of two, Paul is highly attuned to the stressors and pressures to which school-aged children are subjected, which prompted him to create the highly successful Bully Show. Aimed at primary and middle school audiences, The Bully Show is a two-person, four-character play in which the audience witnesses and participates in the effects and resolution of typical bullying situations. Themes of conflict resolution, acceptance and diversity are explored in a fun, entertaining and memorable presentation.

Kobbler Jay Henderson

Is a classically trained guitarist with an uncanny ability to learn new things. When Paul and Jimmie met he could already juggle three balls. Paul was interested in doing a duo show so he gave him a crash course in juggling clubs and sent him home with a beat up set of clubs. The next day Jimmie was back and able to juggle them. Since that time, spring of 2005, Paul and Jimmie have been training their skills and characters they need to make the shows rock!
